| Stock (Or close to stock) Z's that have been very well cared for are becoming hard to find. You see them with very low miles that are in the high teens, low twenties or you find higher mileage cars that have had paint work and/or mods that aren't appealing. This car seemed to fit what I wanted. Fairly rare silver color with 49k miles, supposedly owned by a very "anal" collector who babied it but did some basic mods. I can go pay $13k for a car with 60k miles that is stock but needs 60k service ($900) and/or the stage III mods I want. ($1600 - $1800). If I can get it all in one package then it really comes out in the wash or I pay just slightly higher. I would rather have a car that if I wanted/needed to resell it still has value due to mileage/condition/mods (value to some) instead of getting a car for $10k with 80k miles that I put $3000-$4000 into and then can't hardly get $10k back out of it because it has 100k miles. Plus, finding one that does not have an aftermarket stereo setup of some sort is difficult too.
